In Angry Birds Tower Defense, players can unlock a wide collection of pig-attacking “towers” based on characters from throughout the Angry Birds universe. As the waves of piggies march in, players must strategically place their towers to stop the pigs before they get to the nest. Each tower brings its own special power, so the fun is in figuring out which birds work best together. Early on, a small flock does the job. As the invasions get bigger and more chaotic, players will need to get smarter about who goes where.
Players take on chapters packed with increasingly tricky levels, new environments and new pig enemies. Finishing a chapter earns experience points, which unlock new bird towers, upgrade existing ones and customize the growing roster. Stronger birds mean tougher chapters, and tougher chapters mean more birds to collect. It’s an easy loop to fall into, and a hard one to put down.
Angry Birds Tower Defense is made for co-op. Team up with friends in groups of up to four players, plan a defense together and send wave after wave of Piggies packing as a squad. What’s more satisfying than a perfectly timed team effort? Except maybe seeing the look on the piggies’ faces when it happens.
