Hiring Process.

At Rovio, our recruitment process is designed to build a foundation of trust and collaboration from the very beginning. Our tailored recruitment approach ensures that potential hires not only possess the necessary skills but also share our values and culture. By meeting various team members and engaging in comprehensive interviews, you gain a clear understanding of what it’s like to work here.

TA Partner Interview
In this meeting, we’ll learn more about your motivation, experiences, and expectations for the role you applied for. We’ll also share more information about the role and the interview process.

Hiring Manager Interview
This interview focuses on your hard skills and professional experiences. You’ll discuss your qualifications in detail and learn more about the specific responsibilities of the role.

Take-Home Assignment
To better understand your practical skills, we will provide a take-home assignment relevant to the role. This allows us to see how you approach and solve real-world problems. We also believe this creates a fair and level playing field for all applicants to showcase their abilities.

Final Round
In this stage, you’ll meet with potential team members or stakeholders to test your skills and discuss your teamwork and collaboration style. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask questions and get to know your future colleagues.

 

FAQ

I have applied for a role at Rovio – what happens next?
After you apply, your CV will be reviewed by our Talent Team and the Hiring Manager. This can take up to a maximum of two weeks, but we aim to have a decision for you much faster. We appreciate your patience during this time.
How will you communicate with me?
You will receive feedback at every step. We do this via email and always give the option for a call with your Talent Acquisition Partner to go further into detail. The reason we use email is to give you time to digest the feedback and prepare for a call rather than catching you on the spot. If we see that you are a potential match for the role, the next step is to enter our interview process. The interview process may vary for each role, and you will be informed of the exact process for the role you are interviewing for during the first meeting. Generally, it follows this 4-step format above.
If I applied for multiple roles at the same time?
If you have applied for multiple positions at the same time, your application will be reviewed separately for each role by the respective hiring team. If we see that you are a potential match for one or multiple roles, the next step is to enter our interview process. The TA Partner reaching out to you would also be able to provide you more information on your applications for multiple roles once we move ahead.
