The central User Experience Research team is a part of the Rovio Marketing function. The players’ experience comes first at Rovio and your mission as a researcher is to drive a players first mindset by championing the user and being the voice of the player.
We are looking for a Game User Research (GUR) Intern to join our central UXR team. In this position, you will leverage your passion for games and user research skills to help your teams understand their audience and enable them to create the most intuitive, accessible, user friendly and engaging free-to-play games in the gaming industry.
You will be joining the team for 6 months and this is a paid internship with a monthly salary of 2300€. Please note that we do not unfortunately provide relocation support for the role.

You will have impact and fun at work by:
- Conducting user research, including surveys, interviews and playtests.
- Diving into the world of analysis on both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Supporting senior colleagues in identifying trends and insights.

You are definitely who we are looking for, if:
- You are currently a last year Master’s student in a relevant field.
- You have gained prior experience working on analytical projects, whether in an academic or professional setting.
- You possess practical skills in using Excel. Other data analysis tools, such as SPSS, is a plus.
- You are familiar with user research tools such as usertesting.com, Alchemer, Typeform.
- You have knowledge of different research methods.
- You have good communication skills
- And yes, you love mobile games!
