A rift has opened sending the Angry Birds and the Bad Piggies into the Two Point Museum Digiverse in a new update available now!
You can’t just be opening interdimensional rifts all willy nilly. You never know what’s going to come popping out. In the case of Two Point Museum, their most recent rift-related incident has introduced some uninvited guests to Two Point County. Guests of a particular porcine persuasion. It’s the Bad Piggies. And they are doing all the usual Bad Piggy stuff, stealing from Curators (those are Two Point Museum players) and generally harshing everyone’s mellow. Can anyone put a stop to this mayhem?!
Thankfully the pigs have company, as the Angry Birds have made their way through the rift as well, and can appear in Curators’ museums as brand-new “roaming exhibits”. This means, unlike your standard fossilized T-Rex, Red, Chuck, and Bomb won’t just sit on a pedestal. They’ll be wandering the halls, keeping an eye on things. Once introduced into Curators’ museums, the birds can attack those pesky piggies and make them sitting ducks for museum security.
This beautiful collision of worlds is just the latest foray into what Two Point Museum creators, Two Point Studios, call The Digiverse. Born from a desire to pay homage to “museum-worthy” video games, the team’s first digiverse collaboration was actually with themselves – or at least a fictional game from Two Point County called Meat Wizard. The team has since moved on to collaborations with real-world games including indie fish-em-up, DREDGE, gooey dystopian adventure game, Revenge of the Savage Planet, and demonic roomba simulator, Vampire Survivors.
Now the team are embarking on their first collaboration with an IP from the mobile game realm! With the inclusion of Angry Birds in this latest update, Two Point Studios has deftly woven the Flock into the Two Point world in a way that is sure to satisfy even the most die-hard Angry Birds fans. Get ready to take in some beautiful exhibits featuring familiar Angry Birds scenes, adorn museum visitors in charming Angry Birds merch, and, as always, keep the piggies away from the precious eggs. This collaboration is one for the history books.
