New global initiative promoting fair gaming and positive online communities
Rovio Entertainment is pleased to announce that it is joining the Fair Play Alliance, a global collective of gaming organizations which advocates fair play and the establishment of healthy online gaming communities.
Over thirty video gaming organizations have joined the Fair Play Alliance (FPA), including companies such as Blizzard, Unity, Supercell, Epic Games, Twitch and Discord. FPA’s mission is to engender fair play in online games, raise awareness of player-behavior-related issues, and to create a public repository to share research and best practices for long-lasting change.
The Fair Play Alliance is holding a first ever summit at Games Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco on the 21st March 2018.
