The Brand Development and Marketing team works with the core of the Angry Birds IP, creating and driving the strategy, guidance and also nurturing and developing the fandom of Angry Birds. The team collaborates especially closely with Games Marketing and Research teams, the Player Experience Team, the Brand Licensing Unit, and the PR & Comms Team in creating consistent and engaging brand communications for our global and diverse audience.
We are seeking out a creative, ardent, and collaborative individual to be the newest member of our flock, prepared to contribute amazing ideas, manage the Angry Birds social media channels, and help the team implement plans to grow the Angry Birds brand’s awareness and follower base. In this position you have an opportunity to learn about producing content for a large global entertainment brand and what it takes to run its social media channels.
We would like to note that Rovio cannot provide relocation assistance for this role, so you will need to be eligible for working in Finland.
What your days will look like:
- Create, develop and execute our global Angry Birds brand social media strategy, including copywriting and asset creation
- Manage and coordinate brand video production across various social media channels
- Drive continuous development and measurement of our social channels, including social listening, benchmarking and sentiment analysis
- Develop, test and execute continuous storytelling through highly engaging content and campaigns
- Define, track and analyse the brand’s quantitative and qualitative KPIs
- Collaborate with Games, Licensing and Animation stakeholders for key projects and campaigns
Experience and skills we are looking for:
- Strong innovative content creation skills on different Social Media platforms like TikTok, Twitter, and etc.
- Ability to build storytelling that includes / based on a tight iteration loop with the community
- Sharp pen and native or near-native English proficiency
- Project management skills
- Analytical capabilities and knowledge of basic social media metrics
- Wit and humour relevant for mobile gaming and entertainment industries
Nice to have:
- Video editing capabilities
- Basic Photoshop skills
First meeting: You will meet the TA Partner to get acquainted and learn more about Rovio and the specifics of the role.
Call with a Hiring manager: We will dive deeper into your skills and background, and also discuss what motivates you.
Assignment: We’d like to learn more about your hard skills through relevant task. The task will take you a few hours. And we would invite you to present it to the team for a deep dive conversation.
Team interview: You will meet some of your teammates. Our aim is to get a clear overview of your hard skills and where we can help you develop.
Final meeting: You will have a chat with relevant stakeholders from other teams. The goal is to discuss your career ambitions and expectations, and also how you would fit with our working culture.
