​​Do you love building and improving F2P games based on deep player understanding? Are you passionate about data driven development and live-ops? Join us as a Senior Product Manager focusing on live-ops for our new Moomin Puzzle & Design game. In this role you’ll be joining our Puzzle studio located over Finland and Spain to work with a fantastic Nordic brand, Moomin, well known to all ages.

Your role is to drive the business performance of the game and the live-ops activities. You will be identifying new business opportunities and implementing optimisations to increase player engagement and monetization and your mission is together with the team to grow the game to become our next success story. As the team is located in Espoo and operates in a hybrid mode we would love you to be here as well and can offer relocation assistance. If you are already in Spain, you can also work from our new studio in Barcelona.

What your days will look like:

  • Drive the business performance of the game by owning the live-ops activities and the game calendar
  • Monitor the impact of the live-ops activities on game economy and implement optimizations in order to keep a healthy economy balance
  • Work closely with the whole game team to define the strategic priorities for live operations
  • Own the live-ops A/B testing roadmap and constantly bring the new learning to the team to help steer the game into the right direction
  • Bring an outside-in view to the team by benchmarking of competitors and identifying new ways to experiment and enhance the game

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Solid experience working as a Product Manager with a live F2P title
  • Deep understanding of F2P live-ops, economy and game design
  • Comfortable with strategy building and have the capability of translating the strategy into roadmap items
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability and drive to analyse game data
  • Understanding the needs for a game in soft launch
  • Eagerness to learn more about our players and the Japanese games market

Interview process:

  • First meeting: You will meet the TA Partner to get acquainted and learn more about Rovio and the specifics of the role.
  • Call with a Hiring manager: We will deep dive into your skills and background and also discuss what motivates you.
  • Assignment: We’d like to learn more about your hard skills through a relevant task, which takes a few hours. 
  • Technical interview: We will invite you to present the assignment results to the team for an in-depth conversation.
  • Final round: You will meet some of the team members and stakeholders. Our aim is to get a clear overview of your skills, how you would fit with our working culture, your ambitions and where we can help you develop.
