You will have fun at work by doing:

  • Plan, prioritise and manage the future feature development efforts together with the game team to ensure best possible player experience
  • Drive the business performance of the game based on deep understanding engagement/monetization mechanics, player preferences and F2P game design
  • Support the game team in setting the strategic direction for the product and help defining the desired outcomes for the different actions
  • Analyse the game metrics (in-game metrics, engagement and monetization) and proactively identify and implement optimizations to improve the player experience and core financial performance
  • Own the A/B testing process allowing the team to validate hypotheses and translating the results into learnings that help steer our games into the right direction
  • Bring an outside-in view to the team by benchmarking of competitors and identifying new and promising practices

Superpowers and skills we are looking for:

  • Solid years of experience working as a Product manager with multiple live F2P titles
  • Deep understanding of F2P live-ops, economy and game design; eagerness to learn about Angry Birds players 
  • Comfortable with strategy building and have the capability of translating the strategy into roadmap items
  • Strong analytical capabilities (eg. Excel, dashboard utilisation) with the ability and drive to analyse game data together with the game analysts
  • Understanding the different needs for a game in soft launch and for one that’s been live for years
  • Self-starter and able to tackle problems independently

Interview process:

  • First meeting: You will meet the TA Partner to get acquainted and learn more about Rovio and the specifics of the role.
  • Call with a Hiring manager: We will deep dive into your skills and background and also discuss what motivates you.
  • Assignment: We’d like to learn more about your hard skills through a relevant task, which takes a few hours. 
  • Technical interview: We will invite you to present the assignment results to the team for an in-depth conversation.
  • Final round: You will meet some of the team members and stakeholders. Our aim is to get a clear overview of your skills, how you would fit with our working culture, your ambitions and where we can help you develop.
