Rovio and Lappset donate the ‘Angry Birds Sona’.

The playground structure is being auctioned and the proceeds are going to benefit the National Park Foundation in support of the White House Easter Egg Roll.

The ‘Angry Birds Sona’ playground attraction was a highlight of the 136th annual White House Easter Egg Roll, themed “Hop into Healthy, Swing into Shape.” The auction is now running!

The unique interactive game structure, built by Lappset Group Ltd, is a delightful and educational experience that activates children with movement, sound and dance. Featuring a large arch with a motion sensor and a specially designed game floor, players move and dance as the sensor registers their movements, allowing them to solve math puzzles and other games.

BiddingForGood is processing the auction, and all proceeds, aside from costs for installing the item at its new location, will go to the National Park Foundation to support the White House Easter Egg Roll. You can find the auction here.

The 2014 White House Easter Egg Roll was held at President’s Park, one of America’s 401 national parks which is also the front lawn of one of the most famous buildings in the world. Characters from the Angry Birds, Bad Piggies and Angry Birds Stella worlds were also in attendance, delighting thousands of children – and some adults too!
