Angry Birds Star Wars II - the Emperor invites you to “Join the Pork Side”!


Check out this awesome new video where the iconic Emperor from the Star Wars movies, Ian McDiarmid, invites you to “Join the Pork Side” in Angry Birds Star Wars II – available worldwide on September 19th! The game will be $0.99 (or local equivalent) on iOS, Android (Google Play and Amazon) and Windows Phone 8!

We’re huge Star Wars fans here at Rovio, and we’re thrilled to present you with the first “Join the Pork Side” video – voiced by the Emperor from the Star Wars films, Ian McDiarmid!

Angry Birds Star Wars II will feature bird and pig versions of over 30 characters from the Star Wars universe. And in a countdown to the app launch, we’ll be introducing you to all of them! The first set of character reveal gameplay videos are already coming next Monday August 26th. The game will be out on September 19th all around the world, and it will be available as an universal app on iOS, Android (Google Play and Amazon) and Windows Phone 8 for $0.99 (or local equivalent)! There will also be a free ad-supported version available on Google Play.

The new characters are not the only exciting thing about Angry Birds Star Wars II. For the first time ever you can “Join the Pork Side” and play as the piggies in an Angry Birds game. And if that isn’t magical enough, we’ve also teamed up with Hasbro to bring you Angry Birds Star WarsTELEPODS– so you can teleport physical Angry Birds Star Wars figures into your game to make it even more awesome!
