Rovio helps bring first ever Nordic Brand Licensing Market to Helsinki

Finland’s licensing industry comes together in showcase of Nordic creativity

Rovio and Angry Birds join 20 other Nordic brands by putting our flock on display at the first ever Nordic Brand Licensing Market, held today and tomorrow in Helsinki.

The event is organized by Finland’s Agents and Managers in Creative Industries (AGMA) with the support of Rovio, Moomins and Finlayson, and will host a VIP group of international licensing pros flying in from four continents to to check out Finland’s lively and innovative games, design, animation, film, television, music, publishing and lifestyle industries. 

“As a global entertainment company, Rovio draws strength from its roots in Finland, a wellspring of creativity, know-how and entrepreneurial energy,” says Alex Lambeek, Rovio’s Chief Commercial Officer. “We are very happy to cooperate with AGMA in inviting licensees, agents and others in the licensing world to see what Finland and the Nordic region have to offer.”

Alex will be speaking to attendees, as will Laura Nevanlinna, head of Rovio’s books arm Kaiken Publishing. They’ll both be talking about how brands can bring their stories out into the real world and bring delight to their fans through creative and inspirational licensing.
