Nepal is a small country, but it has a large population of about 30.5 million people. Since April 25th, two strong earthquakes and several aftershocks have shaken the nation. It is estimated that 8 million people have been affected directly by the first earthquake. Thousands have lost their lives, even more have been severely injured and over 100,000 homes have been completely destroyed.
