The slingshot is a symbol of the legacy of Rovio and Angry Birds. Unable to fly themselves, the humble slingshot propelled Angry Birds to great heights, creating a worldwide phenomenon with intuitive, satisfying, and downright delightful physics-based gameplay. Here in the Slingshot studio, we aim to bring that world renowned slingshot gameplay to players in innovative and exciting ways in our existing games, and in new titles as well. The next big slingshot game is in the works as we speak!
Our strategy is to continue providing great experiences to our players in our live games, which include the original Angry Birds games, as well as the competitive tournament-based, Angry Birds Friends. At the same time, we have a strong focus on the future. We want to continue surprising our players with fresh experiences for years to come.
Slingshot studio consists of about 30 employees. A great mix different backgrounds, nationalities and personalities allows us to approach game development from many different perspectives in a highly collaborative environment. We empower our teams and individuals to take ownership for everything we do, and make full use of their knowledge and creativity.

Before joining Rovio in 2012, I worked in the IT sector in various different industries. In Rovio I worked on different roles and projects until, in late 2016, I joined the new Slingshot Studio with the mission build a great team and enable it to build games that our players will love and remember for years to come."
