Generic questions

  • When will the next Angry Birds update come for iOS / Android / Palm / Symbian^3 / N900 / other platform?

    News on updates will be announced on our website, newsletter and though our Facebook page and on Twitter. Generally, we will not publish any release dates before updates are ready and available. This is  to make sure we  give out release dates we cannot always guarantee we will hit.

  • Why is the price of the Angry Birds application different on different platforms?

    The pricing of the application on each platform depends on the development costs, the number of customers and the policies of each marketplace. We do our best to provide Angry Birds on each device and market at an affordable price.

  • Will Angry Birds be done for Blackberry / Bada / any other platform that is not yet supported by Angry Birds?

    It is our goal to get Angry Birds to all relevant devices out there. We are constantly looking into opportunities to bring Angry Birds to new platforms, but cannot give out release dates or future plans at this moment.

  • I have a problem with my Angry Birds game. What should I do?

    First check out our FAQ section for a solution. If you cannot find an answer to your question here, please contact our support through the contact form here. Please provide as much information about the situation as possible: device model and/or version, device operating system version, which Angry Birds game and version you refer to and a detailed description of the issue.

  • How can I move my current Angry Birds progress and scores to my new phone?

    At the moment this is not possible. We will provide a solution to do this in the future.

  • Does it cost to subscribe to the Angry Birds newsletter?

    Subscription to our newsletters is free of charge.

  • I subscribed to the newsletter but have not received it. When will the next newsletter be sent?

    The Angry Birds newsletter provides the latest news on Angry Birds games, books, comics and a lot more. The newsletter is sent out on a monthly or bi-monthly basis, but this my vary.

  • I have an idea for the Angry Birds games, what should I do?

    As happy as we are to hear awesome new ideas from our fans and others, please note that Rovio does not accept unsolicited gaming or other product ideas, concepts or other similar material (“Unsolicited Content”).


    However, should you provide Rovio with Unsolicited Content without prior written agreement, you agree that such Unsolicited Content becomes property of Rovio and Rovio does not have to compensate you for Unsolicited Content or keep Unsolicited Content confidential. Rovio is free to use, develop, commercialize, amend and assign all rights to Unsolicited Content.

  • Does Angry Birds access or send my contact information?

    If you have registered with Crystal social gaming platform, you can select to find friends using Crystal by searching from your contacts. Crystal matches the email addresses in your contacts with email addresses of registered Crystal users. No contact information is collected or stored by Crystal.

    If you have not registered to Crystal social gaming platform, this option to use contacts to find friends not available, and no contact information is used in any way at all. For more information, see the Crystal Privacy Policy. To access the policy in Angry Birds, select the Crystal icon, and select Account Settings > Crystal > Privacy Policy.

  • Does Angry Birds display my current location?

    If you have registered with Crystal social gaming platform, you can select to display your current location using Crystal by changing your account settings.

    If you have not registered to Crystal social gaming platform, this option is not available, and current location information is not used in any way at all. For more information, see the Crystal Privacy Policy. To access the policy in Angry Birds, select the Crystal icon, and select Account Settings > Crystal > Privacy Policy.

  • Why does Angry Birds on Google+ require access to my personal information and activity?

    We appreciate your concern over user privacy on Google+ Games. Rovio and Angry Birds take great care over user privacy and the data we ask through Angry Birds on Google+ is in accordance with the terms of service on Google+. In addition, our privacy standards are on par with other companies on Google+ Games.

    We record information about your activity in order to provide you and other users a better experience, social features designed keeping our users in mind, and enhanced gameplay on Angry Birds on Google+. We are not giving out any of this information to third parties, but use it to improve Angry Birds for our fans on Google+.

    However, if you are interested in playing Angry Birds, but do not wish to login through a service, we recommend you to try out http://chrome.angrybirds.com/. This version is local and does not require any login or information exchange from users.
