Gameplay

  • How can I access the fullscreen mode?

The fullscreen button is located in the bottom right corner of the screen. It looks like a square with arrows pointing outwards from it.

  • How can I zoom in and out the level?

You can zoom in and out by using the zoom buttons in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

  • What are those crowns on my level selection screen?

A crown is a visual indicator of your rank among your friends. A gold crown means that you have the highest score of all your friends who are playing Angry Birds Friends. Silver and bronze crowns are rewards for second and third places, respectively. You can see the levels for which you have a crown on the level selection screen.

  • How can I collect feathers?

Feathers are awarded for achieving a 100% Total Destruction score in any level. To do this you must use the Mighty Eagle to destroy as many blocks in the level as possible. The Mighty Eagle can be activated by clicking the Sardine Can button in the top left corner of the story levels.

In order to maximize your score, it is recommended that you first fling all of your birds and then use the Mighty Eagle afterwards. It is almost impossible to get a 100% Total Destruction feather in most levels by using only the Mighty Eagle.

  • What are power-ups?

There are four different types of power-ups and they can be accessed via the lightning bolt button at the top of the screen. You can use two power-ups per level. The four power-ups are: Power Potion, King Sling, Sling Scope and Birdquake. All power-ups have a different effect, but ultimately they make you more competitive against your friends by making your birds stronger or more accurate or even by shaking the earth itself!

  • Where can I get power-ups?

You can get power-ups as gifts from your friends via the Mystery Gift. You can send one gift per friend per day. Power-ups can also be purchased via the shop, which can be found in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

  • What is Power Potion?

Power Potion is a power-up that increases the size of the bird that is currently in the slingshot. This directly increases the amount of damage the bird does.

  • What is the King Sling?

The King Sling is a power-up that increases the initial launch speed of all your birds. This directly increases the amount of damage all your birds do and changes their flight trajectory.

  • What is the Sling Scope?

The Sling Scope is a power-up that allows you to see a large part of a bird's trajectory before launch. Once activated, the Sling Scope will remain on the slingshot until you complete, retry, or exit the level.

  • What is a Birdquake?

The Birdquake is a power-up that shakes the ground in any level. It is best used for nudging pigs off of ledges and bringing unstable buildings crumbling to the ground.

  • What are Bird Coins?

With Bird Coins, you can purchase power-ups and other items in Angry Birds Friends. Additionally, Bird Coins are distributed as Daily Rewards, Weekly Tournament prizes and Gifts. You can see how many Bird Coins you have in the counter at the top right hand corner of the screen.

  • Who is the Wingman?

The Wingman is a super-powered bird that you can call upon when you need to deal out some extra destruction in Angry Birds Friends. You can summon the Wingman by clicking the Wingman icon in the top left corner of the game screen. The Wingman will then replace whichever bird is currently in the slingshot.
