Angry Birds Rio has been on an award-winning spree lately. The game won the title of "Best Mobile" at the Golden Joystick Awards 2011 in London as well as the iLounge Reader's Choice 2011 award. We were delighted to be selected for these prestigious awards, especially as the winners are determined by gamers rather than a panel. Thanks to our fans for their support!
In Angry Birds Rio, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio de Janeiro, where they eventually escape their captors and set out to to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the hit motion picture, Rio. Angry Birds Rio pairs the physics-based gameplay of the original game with unique twists of Rio the movie.
