Senior QA Testers, Espoo

We are now looking for a Senior QA Tester to join our growing Quality Assurance team in Espoo, Finland. You will have an opportunity to work with professional and experienced team and exciting new products. As a Senior QA tester, your main responsibility will be to act as a lead tester in game projects. 

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of working experience in games and/ or software testing.
• At least 1 year experience in test leading or coordination.
• Experience in test planning and test cases creation.
• Experience in bug reporting and bug reporting tools (JIRA, QC, Bugzilla etc.).
• Familiar with different testing methodologies (black box, white box, functional, regression, compliance, performance etc.).
• Knowledge of gaming platforms (e.g. consoles, iOS, Android, PC, Mac, web etc.).
• Experience in working with outsourced and/or distributed teams.
• Good problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong and genuine interest in games and high attention to detail.
• Suitable SW testing certificates are a plus (e.g. ISEB/ISTQB).

In addition to these, experience from mobile, web or console game testing is seen as a plus. We also value previous experience from the programming or scripting side and expect you to have experience of Rovio's games on at least some platform. Our ideal candidate would have excellent team collaboration skills but also be able to work independently and take initiative. Relevant studies or a degree is an advantage, but not a must.

As a Senior QA Tester you will be in charge of providing top notch functional testing, as well as creating and maintaining test cases and act as a coordinating hub with different stakeholders. You are willing to learn new processes and technologies by working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Excellent written and oral skills in English are essential.
