Lead/Senior Client Developer

Rovio has been growing rapidly after the phenomenal success of Angry Birds, and our growth is continuing at a strong pace. Our new Digital Services unit is focused on creating new products and services extending our offerings in games and beyond. 

We are now looking for a Lead or Senior Client Developer to join our Digital Services Technology team based in Espoo, Finland. In this role you will be responsible for developing client-side applications and components on iOS, Android, HTML5 and other relevant platforms. As a senior member of a team you are also responsible for tutoring and assisting other developers in their work. You will have a chance to work in production or in R&D projects depending on the needs and product prioritization.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the field of software development
• Excellent knowledge of either C++ and Java, or Javascript/CSS/HTML5 or Unity.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant development frameworks and libraries.
• Experience in test driven development & continuous integration.
• Good knowledge of common programming patterns and UI/UX development.
• Unity, graphics or audio programming experience considered as a plus.
• Good understanding of cryptography and security.
• Analytical thinking.
• Good documentation skills.
• Good social and cooperation skills.
• Good communication skills in English are required.
